Q&A

Question: I have a Park model I don’t use but a weekend or two a year or maybe just two weeks a year, can I rent it out?

Answer: We feel you should rent it out, why not? If it is in a seasonal RV park it is costing you money just sitting there. Place a listing for it, and have it pay for itself and put money back into your pocket.

Question: I have a Tent trailer can I rent it out?

Answer: Why not, people are looking to rent tent trailers, they rent for less and are easy to use. They have fewer things to go wrong and the security deposit would most likely cover any thing going wrong with it

Question: Can I rent more than just one RV through here?

Answer: Well as far as we are concerned, you can have a fleet of RV’s to rent. You could get excited about doing this and get a friend of yours involved to maybe rent theirs and make some money for them (and yourself) HOWEVER we only list one (1) RV per listing! That is why our web-master controls your listing page.

Question: What do I have to do to rent my Recreation Vehicle?

Answer: The simple answer is, choose a program to list your Vehicle. Put together four to six pictures of what you desire to rent.

In less than 24 hours you will receive your packet by e-mail to return the information so our Webmaster can build your page showing off what it is you want to rent.

Question: How do I know what to rent my Vehicle for?

Answer: This is a great question, after all many rental companies have made it HUGE by renting and making lots of money, why shouldn’t you, we make it easy for you, we do the advertising, we give you the tools. To see what other recreation vehicles rent for we have a sample sheet showing you what other sites get.

Question: How do you make money, do you get a percentage of what I make when I rent my RV?

Answer: We list your RV, we help you make money, we do not charge you anything other than the listing and to build your web-page. There are others who are trying to do what we are putting together and they do charge much more to build a listing page, they also get a percentage of what you make when you rent out your RV. That percentage varies depending on what the renter wants done. For instance there are those that do not want to do anything but collect money and allow their RV to be used. They would be paying a much higher percentage to those people, and that can get as high as 24% (or more)

Question: Are there any other cost once I sign up to list my recreation vehicle?

Answer: Not from us, The packet will have information on Insurance and how you get the renter to pay for that if you choose, then as the owner you may want to pay for a Emergency road assistance program so you have the piece of mind that your Vehicle is covered in case of a break down while your renter has it.

Here is the easy answer, when you vehicle is rented it is making you money; It will make you more than enough money for you to pay for your own piece of mind. It can be set up in a way that your renter can pay half or even all of the cost for insurance as well as emergency road assistance. After all, what renter wants to ruin their vacation with a breakdown and get stranded?

Question: How long will I have to wait before I can expect anyone to contact me to rent my RV?

Answer: We wish we could promise you that the day after you list your vehicle to rent, people will flood your e-mail box wanting to rent it. That would be great for you and 2RVGuys as well. For you, because you could realize a return for you’re listing right away. For 2RVGuys because we could then tell people how fast it is working for the people listing on our site.

This is a business that you are starting. We are helping you get it off the ground and this business taking your asset that may be costing you money every month just sitting around waiting to be used. Now you are going to make money from that asset and may even put money into your pocket rather than take money out of your pocket.

Question: Do I have to advertise since I am going to now rent my reception vehicle?

Answer: That is a decision you may want to think about. Part of the reason for listing with 2RVGuys is, we are advertising over seas, into Europe, we are advertising here in the US. We have people coming to our website looking to rent an RV. Some want to travel, some want to have a place to go to for a week or two to get away.  The thing you want is to have your asset make you money when you are not using it right? Once you begin making money renting your RV out, if you are like most, you may get excited and you just may want to fill up a calendar having it out as much as possible, who knows if you are good at keeping it out, a whole new world could open up, you could make it into a business and become the next small company making a very good living renting out RV’s. But for now, lets just get you started renting out the one sitting around not being used.

Question: Just what are you going to do for me?

Answer: When you sing up to list your RV we send you a packet. That packet will have all the information you need to list your RV with us. It will give you what you will need to rent out your RV and give you the tolls to do so.

As stated we will advertise here in the U.S. and outside the U.S. The way we have it set up is, Potential renters will click onto a State here in the U.S. that they wish to rent in. They will then see your listing showing your RV. They will contact you and inquire about renting it from you.

Question: How do I collect the money to rent my RV?

Answer: There are many ways to collect your rent and security deposit. The easiest way is like we do, use pay-pal. Depending just on how much you want to get into renting, you could go to your bank and set up an account so you could accept a credit card. Or have them tell you what you need to do to have funds transferred into your bank account. Hey, the bank wants to make money as well, so they will help you get everything set up so you can make money yourself. As for the “2RVGuys”, we like and trust Pay-Pal
